Since opening our doors over 10 years ago, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable, positive and motivating atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Throughout all of our programs, students will not only learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves, but will also develop key character traits necessary to become a self-motivated, focused and disciplined member of society. Master Tim Rupert
Master Rupert is a 5th Degree Black Belt and internationally certified Master instructor. He began training in Tang Soo Do on January 29, 2001. He achieved the rank of Cho Dan on April 3, 2004. He has trained diligently and continuously for over 23 years, and began teaching professionally in 2010, having discovered his calling in life to share his passion for martial arts and the life lessons it imparts. Master Rupert relocated from his hometown of Endicott, New York to Naples, Florida in 2013 to open his school, Rupert’s Karate Academy. He continues to refine his instructional skills to provide the best experience for his students of all ages.
Master Rupert participated in the week long Kodanja (Master rank) testing held by the World Moo Duk Kwan in 2015 for his 4th Dan Master rank and again in 2021 for his 5th Dan and Sa Bom instructor certification under Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, the son of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan founder Hwang Kee.
In 2024, Master Rupert became a student of Grandmaster Robert Leclerc and a member of the International Tang Soo Do Practitioners Association to further elevate the life changing experiences that Tang Soo Do provides for his students and families.
